Product Description
Book 10 looks at the conflicting ideas of liberty and equality. Political scientists realize that most thinking people want equality of opportunity for all. The conflict comes when the natural inequality of people results in many being quite poor. The question then is whether there should be an equalizing of financial benefits for those who have not achieved. If so, those who have achieved will lose part of what they have worked for. The question of whether or not we are actually equal is a major emphasis in this book. However the ideas of liberty are also outlined.
